Welcome to my PageHi Valued visitor, My name is Vincent Kizza from Uganda, East Africa. My experience as a science educator has brought me face to face with the realization of the acute lack of access by both teachers and students to high quality educational content in my country, especially in the sciences. This is mainly attributed to the high cost of text books and the limited networking opportunities for educators to share about their profession. Hence the prospect of access to Free and Open online educational content along with networking of Educators all over the world through WE came to me like a divine gift to make my dream of contributing to science education in my country. I now find time to play my part, by the effective use of my out of office hours. I am greatly inspired by the work of others already in WE and also by this quotation from the great Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi. We must be the change that we want to see in the world.
